Course objectives:
|
The aim of this course is to introduce students into the philosophical view of problems of nature. Present particular historical periods in progress of opinions about nature in European thinking. Evaluate most important ideas and systems (including their authors) connected with philosophical opinions about nature.

Content
|
This topics will be focused: Traditional ontological cathegories and present science. Problem of determinancy of nature. Determinism and natural laws. Deterministical chaos. Mechanicism and reductionism. Vitalicism and emergentism. Evolution of live and non-live nature. Disipative systems. Selfish gene and memetics. Evolutionism and creationism. Human and nature, biosphere and technosphere. Ecological crises, alternative resolutions. Principles of permanent maintainable progress.
